ORGANIZATIONAL LAYOUT AND REFORM

Objective: to  enable the ministries concerned to get involved in interministerial maritime action by:

• The adaptation of their operation, their means and procedures to fulfill the missions entrusted;
• Establishment and maintenance of relations with their counterparts in international bodies or even integration into these organizations;
• Assessment of the relevance of the organization, the resources put in place as well as the performance of the human resource through major maritime crisis exercises.

LEGAL CORPUS

Objective:  adapt national legislation and regulations to achieve coherently:

• The integration of international conventions, in particular those of the IMO, into national law;
• The distribution of the prerogatives and missions assigned to the administrations;
• The framework of prosecution procedures.

Objective:  define the training plans for agents, and contribute to the acquisition of equipment according to specifications defined in a logic of just need and pooling of resources.
